From the (Portland) Oregonian: Drug link to Canada now must shut door The Oregon Board of Pharmacy took 10 minutes Friday to unanimously sign off on an agreement that shuts down a storefront business that has helped hundreds of seniors to get lower-cost prescription drugs from Canada.
At the business, meanwhile, the phone rang incessantly as angry customers called owners Glen and Diane Bremer to complain about losing a source that provided their medicines at savings of 50 percent to 80 percent of what they would have paid at pharmacies here.

Legislator uses Web site to help drug consumers Minnesota and Wisconsin use official state Web sites to direct drug consumers to Canadian mail-order pharmacies.
On Friday, Rep. Jack Franks, D-Woodstock, said he intends to use his Web site to alert Illinoisans to the Minnesota service by providing a link to that state’s site.
