Hi Frank, I really like this blog. Bonnie L. had mentioned your name in a comment on my blog and I came to see what you're doing. I read all the way back to Dec. 08 before I realized the time. I liked best of all the post "Class demo step by step" posted last Feb. where you talked about small bits of light color placed in dark areas. And Little Burro is one of my favorites. I seldom find blogs I enjoy as much as I have yours. Thanks. Did get the book published? Eldon Warren
Hi Eldon, thanks for taking the time to read back that far. I appreciate your kind comments about my blog. I had a delay when working on the book and have not gotten back at it. Now I have a whole bunch of newer work. One of these days.
Hey Frank, Nice work.. don't worry Im not gonna jump on you about the book. I will wait til the winter to repeatedly bring it up and bother you about it...."the book the book the book .................................the book. :))
Thanks Dan. You are pretty funny. I'll get back on that book project when I get my good computer back from the shop.
Hi Bill, thanks. The cool light attracted me too.
Thanks DJ.
Hi Carolyn, Thank you very much for the Kreativ Blogger award. I don't feel worthy since I have been neglecting my blog so much of late. I appreciate it though and will stop by when I get a chance. I may or may not have time to pass it along.
...and, I like this painting, of course.......Don Goyo - the way you painted him - same comment I just made on a different post - love the tender way you paint people and animals.
The book!

Well, you met Canelo in a recent plein air piece that I did. Goyo is the man who owns him and was nice enough to let us paint in his back yard. He is adjusting the ropes on the wooden rack that is used for tying on loads to the burro. The day was overcast. Cool light is something I don't have a chance to paint much so it was a fun piece.

Yeah, blog blitz Marian. I finished up a bunch and wanted to get them all up while I had some time at the gallery this morning.
