This one's great Frank, the colours and implied reflected light is extremely evocative of a certain time of day( I think I've said this before) ..... I was just interupted by a parent of one of the students I teach-it's parent teacher night- and she's Mexican(Carreras) and recognized the areas the areas that you painted, she loved your work.
Hi Frank, One of the signs of a gifted artist is the ability to convey so much information and illicit so much response with so few strokes. You manage to accomplish that over and over again. I love the brilliant color in this painting...it speaks of extremely bright light, and perhaps heat - which I would like to experience right now. Just looked outside and nope - it is still covered in white snow. Sigh! :-)

This is by far one of my favorites. I love seeing you paint figures, their body language always seems so simple, and yet it's so affecting. You've really captured a moment, and that gorgeous light is just the icing on the cake.
Thanks Ambera. I like the figures in this one too. Almost left the girl in the hoodie out, but without her the thing falls apart. The way that she and the man are looking left and the rest of the movement goes right just works so well. Glad you like it. It sold while still wet.

I added a few more brushstrokes and here is the finished piece. I thought that it might be interesting if I left the image from yesterday for comparison.

I only had a little time to paint today, so I started a new 6x8. Here is how I left it. There are a few things that I want to adjust tomorrow. Then I will sign it and re post the photo.
