A beauty indeed! Glad your workshop went well :) Are you still looking into organizing a plein air painting/riding workshop for other instructors in Sam Miguel?
I really enjoy this urban work from you, Frank. It's Old World and idiosyncratic, and alive with the unique lights and colors of the desert, filtered through an astute eye.
Hola Alicia, muchas gracias. Espero que todo esta bien para ti. Glad you like that Dean. Thanks. Thanks for the comment Edgar, nice to hear from you. Thanks Barb, how's the painting going? Thanks Paz. I appreciate it. Thank you Bill.
The workshop last week went really well. There were 6 dedicated students and I had a good time working with them. The food provided by our hosts at the ranch was over the top... again. I think I'll work on setting dates for another class just to get some more of the food and wonderful hospitality. Here is a new painting that I just finished. It is of a corner on the main square here in San Miguel. I decided to add two figures in the shadow of the trees for a little balance and scale.

Beautiful, Frank! The figure clothed in blue is just the right amount of accent against the surrounding red.

I'm glad you had a good and successful workshop.
As usual, I like your painting. The addition of the two figures work. ;-)
