"ASCII Goggles"

William Gibson recently linked to some Russian ASCII Goggles, some VR type goggles that filter a live video feed of your view. What struck me most, though, was the headline itself -ASCII goggles.

ASCII goggles are like beer goggles but just for geeks.
When you sit fiddling with painstakingly adjusting the indentation of a function until it looks just right, you have your ASCII goggles on.When you're in the zone, world tuned out, coding in a caffeine tunnel, you have your ASCII goggles on.
