Two sets of compressors cuz I have too many on this image ; jpg_pack is on both charts as a baseline. [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] As before, we see AIC , Hipix and JPEG-XR are all very poor. WebP is marginally okay (the early encoder I'm using is still very primitive) ; it does well on SSIM, but doesn't have the good low bitrate behavior you would expect from a modern coder. x264 and Kakadu are quite good. My two coders (vtims and newdct) are better than the terrible trio but not close to the good ones (I need to fix my shit).
