So, another year. Another birthday. At what point do you start feeling your age? I have to wonder that, cause I still think in my brain that I am in my 20's. Yet, here I am. A year from the BIG FOUR OH. I definately don't feel that old other than the fact that I have a pillbox. Yeah, I suck at remembering things, so a few years ago, I bought one of those pill boxes to keep my daily medication in. Go ahead, snicker. It's ok.

Anyway, remember when you were a kid how exciting birthdays were. How much you looked forward to getting cards in the mail, or that special phone call from your grandparents?

Those were the days.

Now, it's just another day on the calendar. Something that marks the passage of time rather than something really to look forward to. I'm not saying it bugs me being 39 (it doesn't), but I guess the excitement of birthdays has worn off long ago. Cake anyone?
