Hmmmmm I think the Armstrong Floor house (the corner fireplace rumpus-room) is the same as the corner fire place room with the big yello chair-----they've made a few alterations but the shelving and TV location is the same.......

OMG, fantastic post today! Loved reading the Disneyland article.

I would die for one of those uber cool wall refrigerators!!! And the pink washer and dryer!! I remember seeing them at a store called White Front, I believe! WOW!

I love the way the interiors looked at that time, but have to admit that some of the stuff looks a bit chintzy in quality. Foam rubber cushions, especially!

I am going to frame that print and hang it next to my collection of Hummel figurines!

Check the address lable. I guess everyone knows where to find Dr&Mrs Cox in Independance VA.

And she's half dressed, by the way.

Hey Mike, your right, good eye!

Connie, there's an old White Front Building near my house, its a indoor swap meet now I think!

Major, cool as it looks I don't think any of it would be very comfortable.

Anon; Sometimes I obscure the address (if the magazine actually came from the person listed) In this case it came from California and I notice there is no actual Street Address for the Cox's, I suppose that's cause Independence VA has a population of 971!

A very different type of Disneyland story. A nice change from the stock photos you often see. And what beautiful ads. Love the turkey on the rotisserie right next to the fireplace!

I have been so busy the last month, I'm finally taking a little luxury break to catch up on all my favorite blogs. This post is exceptional! I've never seen this issue of American Home. I want to dive right into some of these pictures and live in them for awhile.

Incidentally, I think you'll enjoy knowing that the "word verification" I'm being asked to type in order to post this comment is "kingdom". How funny!
