のhas not gone unnoticed　の部分がしっくりこないのですが
英辞郎にのってました。

go unnoticed
見つからずに済む、気付かれずに済む、注目されずに終わる

英英辞書によると　go/pass unnoticed　で使われるようです。

英英辞書より例文です。
　Teenage gambling often goes unnoticed.
　His kindness did not go unnoticed by his staff.
　Her death passed almost unnoticed.

なぜテキストには解説がないのでしょうか。不満ですね。
