ビジネス英会話がNHKのWEBサイトでストリーミング放送をされている
ことをご存知でしょうか？

AMラジオが受信しにくい場所に住まわれている方でも、インターネット
なら非常に高音質な放送を聞くことができて便利です。

実はこのストリーミング放送、パソコンにダウンロードできないことに
なっているのですが、簡単な方法でダウンロードできます。

ダウンロードできると、後で好きな時に聞いたり、携帯プレーヤーなど
でも聞いたりできるようになります。

以前このメルマガで、この方法について解説しましたが、

ウーさんの3行目、open up new shortcutsのopen upですが、
色々な意味があるようで、どれか判別できません。

二番目のウーさんで、fall by the waysideは聖書が語源のようです。
Expat Lifestyle (2) 10/4-5, 2006で出てきました。

cuspは「とがった先端」という意味ですが、あまり聞きませんね。
on the cusp ofで、「…の変わり目に」とLEXISに載っていました。
