今日は計画年休を取って会社を休んでいます。


桜の開花のニュースが流れていますが、
私の部屋から見える桜並木も花を咲かせ始めました。

ちょうど今、保育園の子ども達が保育士さんに連れられて
桜並木の下を散歩しています。

英英辞書では用例が見つかりませんでした。

これまた英英辞典（コウビルドとオックスフォード）では凡人という
意味は見つからず。

臭化物、ブロム剤という薬、写真のブロマイドに続いて、
「陳腐ななぐさめの言葉、退屈な人」と、ジーニアス英和大辞典に
ありました。

ブロマイド印画紙で印刷したからブロマイド写真というのでしょう。
