「英会話どうする?」　という本を読みました。

河合塾講師の里中哲彦さんのこの本は、先日紹介した
「目にあまる英語バカ」という本の中で紹介されていました。

「目にあまる英語バカ」に書かれていた主張の多くが
「英会話どうする？」で見つかりました。

楽々英語をマスターする方法など、この世にはないことを
わかってらっしゃる皆さんならば、その通り！と納得する
ことばかりが書かれています。

NHKテレビとラジオがやはりオススメされており、特にビジネス英会話
は一押しされています。

第一章はこんな感じで英語学習の心構えが書かれ、第二章では聖書や
マザーグース、シェイクスピア、その他もろもろの英語以前に知って
置くべき常識的なことが書かれています。第三章はアメリカ人に
ついて、やはり知っておくべき常識が並びます。後半も興味深かった
です。

今月はやけに難しかったですね。

Hollywood films completely lost steam but Japanese films stood
out in 2006. Six films earned more than 5 billion yen respectively
such as 'Gedo-senki'(7.7 billion yen), 'LIMIT OF LOVE Umizaru'
(7.1 billion yen). Surprisingly, the earning of Japanese films
in last year exceeded those of foreign films for the first time
in 21 years.
Now take a brief look at the films which are released in 2007.
First of all, serials in foreign films will be boom. Due to paper
constraint, we don't pick up standard films such as 'Harry Potter'
,'Pirates of Caribbean' and 'Spiderman', but pick up films that
seem to be interesting to our readers.
'Rocky Balboa', which is released in April, is new one in 16 years
directed and starred by Sylvester Stallone, who is 60 years old.
Will this movie strike a cord with Baby Boomers? Others are Horror
film 'Hannibal Rising', which is released in Golden Week, describing
young Hannibal Lecter, the cannibal murder, and action movie 'Live
Free or Die Hard', which is released in Summer, describing Detective
McLean, who is called unluckiest man in the world, fighting against
cyber terrorists. (本多)
