In an evening of a weekday in early September at Ginza, Tokyo, the streets were crowded with men and women going out for fun after work. Since around 2004, long-established top brands including Louis Vuitton have been showing some signs of slowdown in sales. Emerging brand COACH is ascendant rapidly as if it runs counter to the trend. (本多)
