三木さんがおっしゃるWorthとLikeはGeniusでは前置詞となってい ます。 また、Doubleについては "The house costs double what it did before."という例文があり、 ここでは副詞の項に入っています。 追記で、"この例では 形容詞 とすることもできる"ということと"本来は of を伴った名詞" とも言っています。 "形容詞とすることもできる"というのは理解 できません。 "本来は名詞"というのは理解できないこともありま せん。 "with profit margins (being) double (of) what ..." のようにできる気がしますので。 また前置詞は名詞と繋がって 副詞になるのでしたでしょうか？ What以下は名詞ですから、 Doubleと繋がって全体を副詞ともとれますでしょうか。

ありがとうございます！ 名詞として使われているんですね...。（私が持っている）OXFORD英英辞典、ジーニアス、LONGMAN英英辞典のいずれにも表記が見当たらず、残念です。無理矢理和訳するとすれば、「～以前の時代」というところでしょうか。
