What an adventure! My husband works for Union Pacific (the trains you saw) One time he stopped in the small town we were living in and we got to get in the cabin. It was fun, except when we left I was loading the kids up and they blew the horn. Not moving and so close it was SO loud. Thanks honey! I hope to never have to move cross country, I would lose it. However I love all your boredome buster ideas can't wait to use them if we ever go anywhere.

I've been stalking your blog for an update and am sorry that this has been an adventure you didn't plan. But it sounds like you're making lemonade out of the lemons life is handing you!

I can totally relate to this post! My family and I just moved from Las Vegas, NV to Orlando, FL. We lived in hotels and out of suitcases on our week and a half long drive and then for 2 1/2 more weeks in Orlando before we finally got in our home. It's not easy but you can do it. I've been in my house for 2 1/2 weeks now, and I miss the maid service that comes with the hotel. Good luck!
