Hi! I'm just a lurker, but wow, I can't wait to make this! I've been making the same bread recipe for months, and it'll be fun to mix it up (haha, get it?). Question though...do you think I could knead it in my Bosch mixer instead of by hand?? Thanks for posting!

And I just posted a great stamped jewelry giveaway on my blog, if you're interested! :)

I can testify that this is the absolute best homemade bread!

I failed at so many homemade bread recipes, until this one.

Don't forget to tell that you can add butter, cinn and brown sugar for cinnamon swirl bread. YUM

This is a great recipe! I cut it in half because I also wanted to try another recipe, but the other one has to sit for 5 hours I just your recipe in the oven and i think it will turn out great! I "plopped" the dough to the table and then started divide it, my hands were a mess again. Then i started to roll it, and it stuck to the rolling pin. Then i was trying to roll the dough up after I flattened it, but it stuck to the table. I decided I needed to use some flour. I floured my surface and re-did that loaf, and it worked much better. I recommend tht you flour your surface, lightly spray or flour your rolling pin, and flour your hands, makes for much easier rolling and working with the dough! Thanks so much for the great recipe!
Just to put in retrospect of how easy this is, I am thirteen and in 8th grade! I love to cook, but neither of my parents do so I don't know where I got it! I am happy to spend my Friday off cooking!

Very easy great recipe! I am 13 and it was easy for me! I do recommend to flour your surface, hands, and rolling pin when you are rolling out the dough! Other than that it is easy!!

Kylie! That is awesome that you are baking so young. I NEVER would have thought of it.

I normally oil the counter, which makes sure that it won't stick to the counter.

It is good to know that flour works too.

I have to say I was sceptical of this recipe when I seen it but decided to give it a try. I use to make breade the old way my grandfather taught me. The way where you would let it rise twice and whould kneed and kneed and kneed it until your arms hurt. I have to say this bread was absolutly delicious when it came out! I let it cool just a little and added butter and ate it and it was awesome!!! Thanks for the recipe. This will be my new way of bread making from now on!
