oh I know the feeling girl. what a sweet little sad face that littlest man has. That will make any Mother give in, i knowit would me too. Just think of it this way you may not get a whole lot done on your end, but they're only tiny once enjoy a nice movie, slow your pace down and enjoy every moment of this deafet.
There must be something in the air. My little guy had the same problem today. I'm now sitting on the couch with him curled up right next to me. I'm affraid to move.
Both of my daughters are like that. My youngest is so sensitive that when she FINALLY goes down, she knows if she leaves Mommy's arms! Even if she is transferred to Daddy's. Sorry.
Larissa, i feel your pain. Yesterday, my 18 month old was very busy. He managed to pull our 9' Christmas tree over on himself (he's fine), he discovered he can climb out of his playpen (no more confining him so I can shower), he filled the kitchen sink with shoes and toys, and he started biting (ouch). I was exhausted by the end of the day. BTW, love your car mat you made for your boys. if it wasn't only 11 days to Christmas, I would try to whip one up for mine. Maybe a Valentine's Day gift instead.
Sometimes I just climb right in the crib with my little ones to help them get to sleep. It worked for me today! BTW-I made the German Pancake and syrup today and everyone liked it (a big feat in my family).
That is such a sweet, sad little face. How can you not give in? Oh my. Hang in there.

TODAY-

This one does not like to nap.I need him to nap.He needs to nap.I rocked him for 20.Put him down.He cried for 20.I rocked him again. He fell asleep.Put him down.He woke up.I left the room.He cried for 20 minutes.
In less than an hour, he won. I was defeated.

Another afternoon where nothing got done.
