Edward Seymore invented spray paint, however, he did it at the suggestion of his wife Bonnie back in the late 1940's. So while he did the inventing, it was a woman's idea. Go women!

Nice job with the table, and I have to laugh because we have so many of those same toys...Noah's arc, the farm and tractor, the train with the see through blocks...

I love it! It looks so much better. I love your photo frame collage on the wall too. Beautiful!
Truthfully, I don't thing the chair looks that bad. Just wait a while on that one. There is a discount hardware store here that occasionally has cheap items. Recently it was chair covers for $15. They had white- so maybe you should keep an eye out for a cheap cover until your kids are a bit bigger... or in college... or married. But then you'll have grand kids- so hey- just do it now.

Hooray for spray paint! I am so in love with spray paint. I have been waiting for it to stop raining so I can do a little black spray painting myself. :-) As for the white chair... go with white leather (or vinyl) and it will be much easier to keep clean. We have one in our kitchen and it gets pretty nasty, but it wipes up beautifully.
