[Image]Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has attended the first Cabinet meeting after testing negative for Covid-19.He was accompanied by First Lady Janet Museveni.Museveni was at Nakasero Lodge before leaving for Entebbe, Statehouse, where the meeting is to be held.He tested positive for Covid on June 7.In a statement on Sunday, Museveni said he had finally tested negative for Covid-19, eleven days since he contracted the virus.He said tests conducted showed that the virus was no longer in his body system after a series of positive results over the period."On the war with Corona, it is now confirmed that I am a veteran graduate of the war with that enemy. Today, the samples showed that I had turned negative vis a vis corona," he said. "Even the samples of Wednesday last, had showed reduced presence of the virus parts. The Glory goes to God."The President gave a chronology of his battle with the virus stating that he had initially ignored signs of the virus in his body until he developed a runny nose.He said upon examination by his doctor, it was found that he had very low Vitamin D levels, a condition that predisposed him to severe Covid-19 infection."Unbelievable! My Vitamin D levels were very low, my Vitamin B 12 were very low etc. Imagine the President of Uganda is malnourished to the detriment of his life," Museveni said. BY THE STAR
