Great looking game - i'm infinitely jealous.

I see Marius has joined Pompey's cause!

May I ask where you got your hex map?

I'd play C&C:A exclusively for all my ancients, but can't get my head around making a hex map. Pity, too, because I have some excellent fabric at hand.

Here's my start at a blog, where I'll be posting some photos of my own plastic 28mm Romans and Celts:

Hi, these mats are Hotz mats from Canada.

It is surprisingly easy to make a hex mat (I've made several). The below method looked useful:-

Hi BRB,

Incredible armies.

Could you contact me at rvdassem at home dot nl so I can ask some questions regarding basing and the hotzmat for using C&C Ancients. These battles look everything like I alwasy have thought Ancient battles "should"look like but have never been able to play with any other rules out there.

Thanks for the map-making tutorial link. I like to make my own maps, and have some wonderful bolts of canvas for doing so, but can't seem to wrap my head around getting the hexes straight.

Great work!!!
