Paul, there'd be a real danger that the chaps at Slingshot would point put all the things that I've (no doubt) done wrong.

I know Allen Curtis, for example, doesn't believe that the Romans had a suitably cheap source of blue for their shields, and is most likely right. But I just love that blue...

Hi Simon, I know what you mean. But if anyone is likely to have had some access to a limited supply of blue, it would be a marine unit. Besides, the different shield shapes makes them look cool.
