Thanks chaps. I've been looking for rules that accomodate bigger armies, and these worked well!

The elephant did a sterling job holding the legion up. If it had got into action 3 turns earlier, I'd certainly have lost the battle.

John, I dropped Simon a line to say hello.

Braxen, the beads are the heads of the map pins that mark the apices of hexes. We didn't need hexes for this gam, but often use them..

Tell me please - what front and depth of infantry and cavalry unit bases??? Is it a standart DBA 60mm on front stands?

Hi Trommel, they are all 60mm frontage, but I've increased the depths to 60mm for cavalry, and 30mm for most of the infantry. This protects the minis, better, and looks good, too!
