I wonder if a sanding drum on a Dremel would chamfer the edges more easily than a knife and save your fingers. It would raise a hell of a mess, but might be easier in the long run.

Hi all, the bases should hold around 2000 minis. Yes some sort of sander might speed the process. Having trimmed them, I am now sanding them smooth. I miscounted the number of bases, I think there are in excess of 250!

Surely a Dremel with a sanding wheel would speed this up mate? Probably safer for your fingers too!
