You can officially call yourself a wargamer now Simon as you start to collect lots of periods and add to your lead, er plastic mountain.

There are a lot of them; they ain't too bad. I'm trying to resist buying a fresh packet of Victrix so that I can paint a Light Infantry Battalion...

I used to collect Napoleonics back in the 70's. I remember very little about the uniforms and how they were organised; I'll need some books. I sold my old Funckens off around 5 years ago.

£150 nicker, Paul. They were about a 90p a figure.

I'd no have time to paint an army like this, and really want to try C&C N with minis. I could paint a lot better but I'd then I'd rather paint Romans a whole lot better.

By way of a postscript, I realised last night that whilst the infantry are Victrix, the cavalry are Perry Hussars.

A game at Salute or afterwards would be fun. Do you have many Brits? I have none. Might be able to borrow a few battalions from Ian.

By coincidence all my French infantry are based in 4's, like yours!

I am astonished that I am back in Nappies!

What frontage do you base infantry on, Roger?

I think all my figures are based on 50mm width and either 45mm or 50mm depth. Six infantry, two cavalry or three skirmishers.

I bought Blackpowder you know and I am pleased they are encouraging me to drink good brandy and smoke good cigars!
