Sure, after a healthy slap. :) No, I just get frustrated hearing this so often. You would be amazed at how many dozens of times I've heard it, and it never sounds any saner to me. It's mostly from women who just want to work at home and don't realize that this is a profession and not something like data entry.

Yup. And there's a whole industry - check ads by Google - telling us all how easy it is to pick up a pen and get easy work. Neither wonder journalism is on its knees and writing gigs so poorly paid right now. Deep breath ... and ... EXHALE!
