[Image] Today, Jezebel, pointing out the problems inherent in slaughtering sacred cows, cultural touchstones, like say The Godfather (this idea was sparked from Daniel Smith's article in Slate. So I started to think about the things that I don't like, that society at large has deemed fantastic or important. And while at one point it may have started out as me being a contrarian, I must admit that I have never truly been shy about pointing out the things that are cultural touchstones that I dislike. So I was with much bravado that I once declared my distaste for The Sun Also Rises in an English Lit. class, much to the dismay of my fellow undergrads. I just couldn't muster the sympathy for the privileged whiners in the book. No thanks. In that spirit here are other things that I am just not down with, and if you want more, read the comments from the Jezebel post.
