Ignore my last comment, having problems with posting. And I wasn't sleeping or bored !!!
The roads in Wimbledon were like this last year, but no tide coming in, just heavy rain.
If the tide comes in once a day, is this a good excuse not to go to work !!

[Image] One desirable aspect of when the tide comes up over the road on Mersea Island is that there is a little window when everything stops for a while... no-one can get on or off the island (via the causeway called 'The Strood' locally) and midweek there is a peace that gently descends, wonderful! [Image]
