Thanks for this. I caught the documentary and it did sound like they'd enjoyed their share of hedonism in the early days. No different to many young people but with more opportunities afforded by the road etc. However, it did seem like they were much more grounded now. The religious undertones have always been there in some of their lyrics. Another album for the Christmas pressie list. Have a joyful Christmas. Phil.
Recently ITV recently carried a documentary which followed the band around for 48 hours entitled 'Excess All Areas' (Explicit!). Despite the title and the presenter's efforts to talk sex drugs and rock and roll, the band came across very much as the family that they are genetically, very different to most bands with similar status.
