First, when I get ready to buy a new Tracfone (like now), I always read your reviews. They are very objective, and demonstrate that you actually tested the phones. Great work!

On many of your reviews, you mention HSN as a source. HSN's price is almost always lower than Tracfone, plus they usually include Tracfone minutes with the deal.

How can they always be lower cost than Tracfone? What am I missing? Are they selling reconditioned phones, or ???

I just bought one from HSN and it was $99 with free shipping. It just made sense as I needed to renew my year service. So, I upgraded my phone and service for less than Tracfone's yearly plan of $125..

Like many others, I purchased an Optimo Maxx G7 from HSN for $79.99 (used a $20.00 off coupon), free shipping, used my HSN credit card to spread the payments over 3 months - no interest!

The phone is brand new and not used or re-furbished. I find these deals from HSN to be less expensive than buying direct from TracFone.

For a budget phone and for someone who is on a budget and older - this is a great deal! Plus, I like that it works on Verizon and without Verizon's high prices.

Compared to my friend's "real" Verizon phone, my data speeds are a little slower but not by much according to fast.com.

The one thing I wish this had is Wi-Fi calling to save my minutes.

I'm new to cell phones so there was a lot I didn't know. This g7 optimo max I have now will be my first and last Lenovo product after the Android 10 non update and always behind on security updates. Oh and I will never buy a carrier locked phone again. It's a cheap phone that works that about it

Great speaker and an upgrade to the Stylo 4 which I purchased and left after it dropped calls. I bought two for the 89 buck price. So nice to get a quality phone for less than the price of time. only negative is low pixels do not run well in heavy sunlight.

If anybody ends up here because their LTE stopped working after the G7 received the Android 10 update, this is what I did and it's been working.

Hit and hold the power button. When the options pop up "Power Off", "Restart", "Screenshot" and "Emergency", long press the "Power Off" until you get an option to "Reboot to safe mode". Hit OK and let the phone reboot. At start of safe mode, my LTE was back. I rebooted again, this time normally, and LTE has been working for almost an hour now.

I tried registering on the Lenovo/Motorola site, but it wouldn't let me put my email address in, so I couldn't do any thing.

I hope this helps somebody!

Got ours from QVC. The more I checked it out on HSN, the higher the price went. Still up to $174 lol

Updated it, one after the other till the final Android 10 finished(twice).

There is no calling over WIFI for this unit.
Hard to believe at this point... I suggest talkatone for that, gets your own new number use once a month for number keep.

Wifes 1 year old Trcfn was getting glitchy and account expiring...
