I used code 22448 for $50 off the year's worth of airtime ($125 Smartphone card), and it applied in the checkout screen, but my credit card statement shows they didn't take it off. I called customer service and the rep insisted that it was only a deal if you bought a new phone?? That seems crazy to me. Has that happened to anyone else or should I call again and hope for a different rep?

I read your recent column about what to do if you didn't get your bonus, but I can't get that far. I've been a Tracfone customer for a long time and have an LG Stylo 4 that I purchased from Amazon. When I try any of the codes you provide, it says "Promotion not available for this phone." What the heck? I'm still a customer & don't get this. Can you help?

Earlier this month I used one of the codes for an extra 500mb of data with a 1GB card. It accepted the code, but I never got the extra 500mb. My husband also had the same type of issue with a Text card/promo code.

These promo code for the 500 mb free data with 1 GB card have not been working for me the last several times I've tried. It says the code was accepted when checking out, but the balance added to my phone never reflects the bonus data. These used to work, but not the past several times. Even when it says it accepts the code.

Tried several promo codes that didn't work. Code 55698 was "accepted" previous time I used it, but didn't add extra 20 min.
This time same code worked!
Bonus 20 min. didn't show in purchase summary before checkout, were added in when I received confirmation on phone.
(Purchased only 'add-on 100 min. talk' – no service days – for basic phone.)

Alert! When renewing my minutes on a regular Tracfone in October 2020, I ordered a 1-year 400 minute card online that gave a $15 discount if I ordered that item online. The promo was good in October 2020. I got an order confirmation showing the $15 discount and the total was $95.29 after the discount and taxes My phone was soon updated with the new minutes. I made a copy of the Order Confirmation for my records; I just got my credit card statement and was shocked to see the charge was listed as $111.94 (the $15 discount was not applied). I called Tracfone, I explained the situation, gave them my transaction no., and requested that the $15 to applied as per the order confirmation. I talked with 3 people at Tracfone for a total of 40 minutes. I first talked to Jay who wanted the coupon code I used (which I didn't copy down--didn't think I needed it when the order confirmation with the discount went through and I got my minutes), then got transferred to Brian in corporate who wanted the coupon code I used. I happened to see this site while I am talking with him and noticed the online code you have listed for October 2020, and he said that wasn't a valid code, but I said I didn't write down the code I used as the transaction went through). Then I got transferred to Jonathan in corporate and repeated the conversations and that I wanted a refund of $15 ($16.65 with the taxes). He said my voice was cracking on the phone. (I was using my landline and have called internationally recently without any problems.) My son and I are longtime users of Tracfone, and I would not be happy if I didn't get the discount, which I think should be honored otherwise the transaction wouldn't have gone through with the discount. He said I didn't meet the conditions for the promo code. I asked him to explain what conditions I didn't meet. I said I found a code for a $15 discount, was able to use it as the transaction went through using the $15 discount and the minutes were added to my phone. A couple times during my conversation there was a delay before he replied. Then the phone disconnected on his end. Beware! I plan to pursue this further.
