The triple-minutes feature is the bomb! I've also been petitioning Tracfone to allow people to reduce their end date in return for minutes.

So if they have a service end date nearing eternity they would be able to go online and reduce their end date to say 6 months from now and receive 2 minutes for each day they reduced their end date by.

Nice site, keep up the good work!

Amazon and ebay are great choices for deeply discounted tracfones, but, I've also discovered HSN.com has excellent offers as well. I bought a TMFL LG 505C on Amazon for less than $30.00, (new in tracfone package), then saw it at HSN.com with 1400 minutes, a year of service, a case, (choice of colors), and car charger for $89.95 plus shipping. HSN offers great bundles, so, in this deal, you're pretty much getting the phone for free! Too bad I didn't consider HSN until after my purchase, but, no complaints. The accessories are also very inexpensive at Amazon and ebay.
I started my prepaid journey with tracfone in 2009, but migrated to Net10, (tracfone didn't offer TMFL back then, so the Net10 plan was better for me). I had the LG 840G and LOVED it, but realized that I need Verizon service at home. Before realizing that tracfone had any CDMA phones, I went with a Straight Talk smartphone, (shouldn't have ignored the reviews!) But, despite those issues, $45.00/month is more than I really want to pay, so was over the moon when I found out that I could get a NON-SMARTPHONE, (so no more expensive monthly plan), that worked off of Verizon cell towers!!! So grateful for this website and others that have helped me get an education and saved me so many $$$$$ too! THANK YOU ENORMOUSLY!

I have been a TRACFONE user for about 9 years, you should see the pile of old or unused tracfones. In the beginning many of the phones were lemons so they would have to replace them.I donate them when possible to organizations that use them for battered women's shelters.Back to now - for the last 4 years I buy a new TRACFONE a year at either HSN or QVC.They offer the very best deals on the latest phones with great included minutes plans. They both offer a special one day only deal ever year generally in the 4thquarter. I end up ordering a couple of different styles waiting for others to review before deciding which one to keep and which ones to return. In the 4th quarter both networks offer extended return periods till Jan 31st and original price and shipping are refunded. This year I'm keeping the ZTE which at the time was about $100 with 1400 minutes. Of importance to anyone reading this is I generally find the best way to buy minutes is to buy the phones any time of year at QVC or HSN just for the minutes. On the new androids it is an amazing deal as the minutes become separate for data ,voice and text for whatever #offered. Meaning if it comes with 1400 minutes it is now 1400 mins data,1400 voice,1400 text. Right now HSNandQVC both have the older lg 840sfor less than $100. I buy these strictly for the minutes which I then add to what I already have on my phone and donate the phones. So far I haven't found a cheaper way to buy minutes. Thanks for this site, wish I knew about it previously might have saved me a lot of the time I spent searching for others reviews on the phones.
