I wish Tracfone would stop limiting most of their models to 16GB of storage :/

Does the Moto e5 have a glass back like the Moto G6? There are many comments on Amazon regarding the rear glass breaking on the Moto G6.

Looks like HSN gets a newer model of this phone: XT1925DL with much better features.

I checked YouTube and according to their video reviews, the case is plastic. The glass back on the G6 kept me from buying it since so many had commented on the back glass breaking from just temp changes and living in Florida we have many of those.

Does the Tracfone Moto E5 allow the use of an SC card as internal memory? Also, does this device support USB to go?

I have the SimpleMobile Moto E5 version for $8.99 and loving the low price! Got this one because i can place a BYOP AT&T Tracfone SIM in it and have service! Who ever got an $8.99 smartphone for 83% off that has 4000 mah battery and 5.7" screen coupled with 2gb RAM, 16gb Internal Storage?

I even hear that you can use it on Verizon and possibly Sprint BYOP of Tracfone!

After I get it unlocked after 12 months of service, will it on GSM network carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T?

All the reviews for this phone sucks!

Here are the facts...

I am sporting a 128 gb SD card without issues. I can force all installed apps to SD card by using developer options. The option to force apps to SD card is at the bottom of the developer settings page.

The is phone is Volte compatible, the TF sim states HD voice, not volte, but they are both the same. Bluetooth is unrestricted on file transfers. Have yet to find a file it will not transfer to another phone.

Baked in the phone is voice over wifi, and video calling. Once your year is up, you can use Verizon account to have full features.

The phone is compatible to verizon apps... I use both Verizon Messaging Plus, and Verizon Visual Voice mail. Not the stuff prepackaged. Removed Duo, and Google bloatware. Using adb unininstall options. Within 20 minutes phone was cleaned up and fully setup to my liking.

The tracfone variant has 3gb not 2gb as stated.

4 core is better than 8 core... just look up issues with 8 core snapdragon.

The phone is a great budget build, beats all budget Moto phones e5 to e6, and is a step up from previous LG budget phones, like K20, and solo for example.

The only feature I am disapointed with is camera... though 12 mega pixel would make the phone a wee better. It's not an major issue, as I use a real camera not some poker phone for imagery. The camera is great for video chats, and random recordings on the go.

I think the camera app is limiting the functionality, as there is a few free camera apps that unlock the ability to record at higher levels. So it's not the caamera it's self that is the issue.

All in all the only phone in the budget category that may be better is the Samsung A10, but it is more expensive and bloated with Samsung and Google apps.

In my month of use, I could not ask for a better phone at the price.
