Anyone - Did you use the activation on your phone or call in. Such a waste of time when you call in!! Have a 120 min card to activate! Wondering if you get the extra minutes when you do this on the phone for activation? Pin + promo code?

I have an LG 530G that is supposed to be triple minutes.
I plan to purchase a 400 minute one year card at Walmart for $99.99. Will this give me 1200 minutes automatically when I add my code online?
Along with that can a coupon code also be used for additional minutes?
I am new to Tracphones so I am not sure how this works. Any help would be appreciated.
When I originally purchased the phone three months ago I purchased a 60 minute card. I had also found a coupon code online and I used it also because I wasn't sure how that worked. I can't really remember but I think it gave me a total of 150 - 170 minutes after entering the card online. I don't think it gave me 180 total like it was supposed to with it being a triple minute phone.

To get the free minutes, all you have to do is include the 5 digit code at the appropriate place when typing in the airtime pin. There are places for the code both if you're entering it online, or on your phone. You can call Tracfone as well.
