These "bonus" codes are only good for the Java based phones, which aren't being used all that much anymore. You can get a cheap smartphone for near the same price now.
since more and more people use smartphones now TF should just allow these codes to work on Android systems too., otherwise they will just become a thing of the past and pretty much useless.
Any news on new model phones coming out? I'd like to see some with specs at least like an S3 by now. The Power/Destiny/Sunset are close, but not quite there yet.

My most recent (5th) Tracfone Phone is LG 306G...it and previous 800G were nice phones EXCEPT notorious butt dialers. I always add by 1500 minutes cards and want to add time soon to a new phone. Which Android phone adds closest to triple minutes format from my previous LG's shown above...they were straight Triple Minutes?

Speak for yourself. I don't use a Smart ph. Refuse to pay all that much for dead hot air. I like a Tracfone for emergencies in the car and some long distance usage. Not everyone wears a phone on their ear so aTracfones are great for people like me.

:) lol I hear ya , don't mis understand what I was sayin there, I'm the same, more or less, I had a 840G at first myself, only went to a LG34C (smartphone) last Dec when they were on sale for 10 bucks, and still have the same time on it, so its not like I have one "glued to my ear" smirk.
I was just tryin to point out that people who "do" have these smartphones can't use the bonus codes, and that as the cost of these things drop more and more and pretty much all phones are going to be smartphones, that the bonus codes are kinda getting useless, I dono maybe they still offer them to keep some java based OS phone people happy.
But its not like some of us that now are using a so called smartphone are spending hundreds on them or using them 24/7. I don't think I've made more than 5 calls on this thing myself in a year lololol, and don't have anybody to text either, and the 3.5" screen is too small to do any web surfing. Its why I won't even use the time on it now by March when the service date is due.

Tracfone Promo Codes!
For those who might be unfamiliar with Tracfone, they are a low cost wireless cell phone company that offers prepaid phones and airtime. Consumers can either buy one of the phones Tracfone offers, or bring their own smartphone to use with Tracfone.
Airtime for Tracfone comes in various amounts ranging from a 60 minute card, up to a 450 minute card. Tracfone also offers many more airtime options including automatic monthly refills. Learn more about the basics of Tracfone by checking out our Beginners Guide to Tracfone.
The promo codes from Tracfone can be used every time you add an airtime card to your phone. However, promo codes will not work for smartphones or devices you bring to Tracfone through the BYOP program.
To use a promo code simply enter the PIN for your airtime card on the Tracfone website, on your phone, or by calling Tracfone. Following that there should be a place to enter a five digit promo code, which you can select from the codes below. These codes are for a certain airtime amount, but can also be used on cards of greater value as well. For example, a code for a 120 minute card will also work for the 200 and 450 minute cards. A promo code for the 400 Minute/1 Year card cannot be used with any other card amount.
