I don't think this is currently possible, but I suggest looking into other service providers and ask specifically for international cell phones. They can be a little pricey though.

That is a very interesting, and annoying, problem. With Tracfone, everything is prepaid. So you buy a certain number of minutes, and a certain number of days of service. If your minutes run out, you cannot call anyone. If your service days run out, you cannot call anyone and any remaining minutes are lost.
Also, after a certain amount of time when you phone has had no service, it will be deactivated.
Yes, it seems strict, but if you simply manage your minutes and service days well, you will have no problems.
Buying a 1 year of service card or using the Tracfone Value Plan, are great ways to avoid running out of service days.

But one can leave a message but that message does not show up for three or four minutes. A year ago I bought the LG 840G phone and loved it. As soon as I got it, I started transfered music and jpg's to the phone. The Problem now? I forgot how I did it. Recently tried to do it again and find it impossible with the only cable that came with it...its the recharger cable...Now here is the kick..when I first tried it with that cable, without it being actually connected to my pc, windows acknowledged it and stated to search for new drivers. After successfully getting it installed, I cannot see on the computer the drive for it as one is suppose to. Tech said the only way to do this is to get a usb cable....but I never used one the first time and did it...I am going batts. I did not use bluetooth. I do have wifi so was that how the pc acknowledged it for the new drivers, via WiFi? Does anyone know how to transfer files from pc to phone and vica versa?

I'm thinking about purchasing the Samsung Galaxy centura tracfone for my girls. Can they download games like cookie jam and does it use their minutes to play games?
Most likely they can download most games from Google Play and it won't deduct minutes to download/play as long as they are using WiFi and not data. The centura is an older smartphone, and may not keep up with newer games that require higher performance.

By far, the best way might be to just call the Tracfone customer help line.
While some people complain about Tracfone's customer service, for the majority of users, it works just fine. It might take 20 minutes and you might be talking with a non native English speaker, but they are working hard to improve their customer service rating.
To get the contact information for Tracfone, simply visit their website, Tracfone.com.
And, if you don't want to talk on the phone, submitting a question or complaint through their website's form is easy to do, and results in a response within a few days.
Other Options for Getting Your Questions Answered
Obviously, another option for when you might have a question about Tracfone is to simply ask it here on TracfoneReviewer. Either our small administrative team will get to it, or sometimes other readers have the answer as well.
