I have owned several tracfones over the year. I like the annual cost and triple minutes. It fits my budget and phone useage. Have not learned how to block pic msgs that have been sent to me and it's annoying that until I pay the higher cost of opening the message, I can't even find who sent them to me...but considering the reasonableness of using this phone I would not consider switching. I just delete every pic msg that is sent without opening it. Love that I'm not locked into any long term plan with hidden costs that would prevent me from discontinuing with them
I don't think the 12745 bonus code worked on my double minutes phone. When entered it read: 60 minutes 60 bonus minutes 90 service days added. That was a total of 120 minutes, it should have been 180 minutes with the double minutes feature on the phone + the 60 bonus minutes.
Peter, need to change direction I just bought the sunset phone and I'm having trouble sending a photo with a text and I have read the instruction booklet with no direction on what to do if it won't go through. I've gone through the settings and nothing I can see helps. Do you have any in insights?
To send photos via text make sure your DATA is turned on. I noticed this same issue on both a Moto G and LG Ultimate 2, and once the Data was turned photos could be sent/received via text no problem. Just remember to turn data off afterwards too.
I have used promo code 12745 about 10 times on a 60 min card and got 60 bonus mins (on a double minute phone). However, today when I tried to use the code again it said I had used the maximum # of uses for that code on my phone. So, I was about to add the mins without a promo code but at the last minute I decided to check the web to see if there were any other codes for a 60 min card. I quickly came across promo code 87844 for 20 bonus mins on a 60 min card. So, I tried it and it worked! Hey, it's not much but it's better than nothing.

Welcome to the New Year! With a new year we've got new promo codes to use with Tracfone. For those who might not know, Tracfone is a prepaid wireless phone company that offers both airtime, and cell phones to use on their networks.
Each time you add airtime to your phone you can also use a promotional code to get 20-250 extra minutes for free, depending on what airtime card you use. Please note that these Tracfone codes do not work on Android phones or devices on the BYOP program.
Promo codes are listed with the airtime card they can be used with, but you can also use them with any card of greater value (except the 400 Minute/1 Year card). So if you have a 120 minute card, you can use a code for either the 120 or 60 minute card.
