That'd be because you have a double minutes for life phone - the base minutes are doubled, then the bonus minutes are added. It's a good value, but I wish I'd thought to get a triple minutes phone.

70166 code "invalid" online so I didn't add minutes card that way. When I instead called (on another phone) to add minutes card, 70166 worked just fine. Odd, but got my extra 30 minutes so I'm happy.
I just received a text message on my Tracfone re promo code 21290 (good for 2 weeks only)indicating that by purchase additional minutes there is a bonus of ???....I was driving and the message disappeared before I could get full details. Can someone enlighten me? Which phone card do I buy and activate to get those additional minutes? Thanks.

Jan 28th 2014 last night I uploaded a 60 min airtime card Tracfone said the #70166 was inactive! Did not work. Just letting everyone know.
