I will be going to new delhi with my husband for a year. I have read all your blog entries, really enjoyed them, and took notes. I have some questions. If you don't mind answering, would you please email me at babaesha@yahoo.com. Thanks!
I found this blog while looking through Lulu.com - you posted a question about turning this blog into a book...my wife has kept an extensive blog about our family over the last year and i was planning on using Blurb.com to "slurp" it into a blog book...i think they are the best in town (http://www.blurb.com/create/book/blogbook) -- the reason i was looking at LuLu is because Blurb (and the other few blog book sites) doesn't use your larger pictures when it imports - it uses the inline pictures...for example, you have your blog with the words and pics - those pics are small and when you click on them they are larger...well, the Blurb book will pull the small pictures from the text into the program for you to create the book...you can easily replace those pictures with larger pictures, but my wife has over 1,500 pictures in her blog from last year and the thought of replacing them is daunting...then again, if they aren't too large in the book the quality will be fine...
just wanted you to know since you were asking on Lulu how to get this blog into a book...
by the way, i love your blog - my wife and i met in Korea while traveling through Asia and although we haven't been to India it is a place we both can't wait to go...we lived in Korea for 4 years and hit Japan, China, the Philippines, etc...traveling is amazing...

I keep finding vestiges of India In my belongings. A ten rupee note, a receipt from Cafe Coffee Day. This morning on the train to work I came across a five rupee stamp reading "Leopard Cat". We live in a beautiful town that I could not complain about even if I wanted to. Still, India keeps tugging at me. I learned a little about myself from my experience in India. Mostly that I have a lot to learn but also that there is a lot our there worth learning. We are trying to work a visit to India into our plans for the future. Go figure. Another thing I've learned is that India took a piece of me when I left it. And you know what? I don't want it back.
