I loved this post, and I had no idea Peñíscola had such an interesting history—or such a large seaside castle.

It surprised me for a second that you would consider Albarracín a daytrip from Valencia, since for whatever reason I’ve always considered it part of the Aragonese sphere of influence—but when I was in Teruel 3 months ago I was shocked that it’s actually just as far away from Zaragoza as it is from Valencia! Looking forward to hearing your impressions from that really beautiful village.

This place looks full of encanto, indeed! From the photos, I wouldn't have imagined it harbored so many hotels and resorts, either--were there few visitors the day you went?

Can we agree that a movie needs to be made about Papa Luna? It must be set in his fav seaside town, of course!

Lovely photos of Vicenza. As with many other European destinations, I would love to put this on my bucket list.

I just found your Europe Series a few days ago. It inspired me to also pursue my dream of going to Europe someday. I might also do it solo like what you did. I really enjoy reading all your entries. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences.
