Thank you for reading my blog, The Suvive and Thrive Boomer Guide at http://boomersurvive-thriveguide.typepad.com.

I'm new to blogging, too, but I have an advantage in that I'm a trained journalist and have written monthly columns for people 50-plus for nearly 20 years. I've also written a consumer action column and a consumer food column, both for newspapers in the West. I also worked for state government as a writer and editor.

Your blog is interesting, but I'd suggest that you have shorter posts. Also, check your posts for typos.

Good luck.

Rita

P.S. I've also found that www.problogger.net is helpful

Thanks for the helpful advice Rita! Can you tell me your thoughts on keeping the posts shorter? I have thought of posting some technical information about things like social networking tools such as wikis, etc. and making the post more informational.. to help baby boomers undertand and use such tools. This does end up making the posts longer. What are thoughts about this approach?
