Very glad to see that they didn't interview any currently active members of any group. I know for a fact they live to hear themselves on any media that is willing to let them talk.
Irrespective of its sources, racism is racism. Ignorance is no excuse. Insecurity is not justification… racism in all its forms should be uncompromisingly condemned. http://bit.ly/MakingRacist Thanks

I don't understan this interview with Dan. Why does he spend the whole time indexing his acts of violence? It sounds like he is getting a kick out of having a podium to beat his chest from.

If you have followed this blog for a while or gone through our History of Violence timeline, you will bee well aware of the connection between the racist movement and acts of often extreme violence. But if you don't believe us, why not watch Global's "16x9" tonight to hear it from someone who lived the lifestyle:
While the Collective has had the pleasure of knowing Dan for a while now he first came to our attention back in 2004 or 2005 when he did an interview regarding his rejection of racism and the violence associated with the movement. At the time he was still concealing his identity, but not long after he became a very public advocate for non-violence and anti-racism. He has never sugarcoated his past and now uses it to inform people about the dangers of this movement and so that people, especially kids, are not drawn into it.
Interestingly, Dan's article comes at an interesting time given the information we received recently regarding an assault in Ontario this past August:
Man slashed in Kitchener’s Victoria Park Friday Record staff Mon Aug 27 2012 14:59:00
KITCHENER — A man was assaulted by two or three armed men in Victoria Park on Friday evening. Police were called about 10:25 p.m. to Park Street.
A man was confronted by men armed
with an edged weapon and a hard metal object, Waterloo Regional Police
report. He was cut in the abdomen. He was treated and released from
hospital.
Anyone with information about the assault should call detectives at 519-650-8500, ext 4499.
Or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
We suspect we know who the victim is as well as at least one of the alleged attackers.
If any of our readers have any tips, we suggest they be forwarded to the appropriate authorities.
