I'm so sorry things have been rotten for you recently. I think times like these are a test of our fortitude, but it sure would be great if we didn't have these tests at all. It isn't always necessary to put on a happy face. When I have done that in the face of difficult challenges, I've looked back and realized that I should have asked for more help and support. I hope the surgery goes well. I'll be thinking of you, and thanks for sharing.
