• Everybody has finally left, and I'm left to my own entertainment for the evening.
After a long day of chatting, worrying about the generator (which we had to start up twice), and our stations, I, Mike, and the other engineer were tired of this place. My VP showed up for a few minutes today, with talk of my company renting me an RV to stay in, instead of this transmitter room that I'm in now. I hope they come through with that, soon.
Sometime after 7 p.m., the assistant engineer, Robert, from my company arrived with a Jeep, and some more supplies. So, dinner consisted of some white bread, American cheese, and, with the addition of plates, bowls, and the microwave brought by the other engineer earlier today, I had a nice dinner. Nice for here, that is. I also got to have some microwave popcorn, and a couple Oreos.

I'm also excited to have bug spray, (no more roaches or angry wasps inside, and fewer mosquitos outside), some paper towels, utensils, and fresh batteries for my flashlight. They're doing their best to "take care of me" out here, but even supplies can be hard to come by. Robert also brought another small refrigerator, so now there's less chance of bugs or rats getting in my food supply.

Finally, everybody headed out. So, it's time for some reflection, a break from the fluorescent lights, and some alone time. At least now I have a vehicle if for some reason I need to get out of this place, or just wanna drive around.
I don't know the schedule for the morning, but I guess the fuel boys will be back, and hopefully tomorrow I'll get a shower, or at least get the urge to try to shave and clean up some more.
The other engineer says that if I need anything, I should just holler, and he'll do what he can. However, he says, "I can't bring you out a hooker. That, I just won't do. I'm not going to be your pimp."
Not that I'd want a chic anyway...or have any place to do it with her, either.
