I think all of us, no matter what our homeschooling philosophy, tend to second guess ourselves from time to time.

School is all *we* have ever known so we do tend to get *stuck* once in a while. But just for a brief moment right? hahaha

And we want the very best for our children right? And sometimes that means buying them things (like curriculum!)that they don't really need! And we learn from that.

To write well, one has to write!
And over time one gets better and better.

Encourage her words to come from her heart, to write what she is passionate about or something she wants to investigate.

There are many interesting and informative books about *writing books*, which are very helpful and way more interesting than the drudgery of grammar and writing curriculum.

If a person can express their thoughts on paper, that's the whole battle. The whole mechanics of the writing can be fine tuned at a later date.

We are all learning and growing each and every day!

happy day!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
