I was thinking about the significance of "Independence Day" and how it has changed for me over the years, so I picked up my Kindle to reread one of my favorites -

Two of my favorite quotes - My happiness is not the means to any end. It is the end. It is its own goal. It is its own purpose. I am done with the monster of "We," the word of serfdom, of plunder, of misery, falsehood and shame.
If you have never read this I HIGHLY recommend it! I think it might even be time for KM to read it. Hope you all enjoy your Independence day and hope that you find your true independence!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
