Agreed. I guess I've gotten used to the rosy tone homeschooling families use... in public. And I couldn't agree more re: socialization. My tween wasn't bullied until we started homeschooling :-(

Hi Amanda -
What didn't you understand?
I thought I was pretty clear in that I am shocked that someone would actually spank their children in hopes of coercing them to do something or the fact that I am even more shocked that a doctor would openly admit to spanking their children?
Spanking should NEVER be an option and it is shocking to me that someone who is intelligent enough to become a pediatrician would actually think that that would be a means to a positive end.
Is that clearer?

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
