My kids are in love with the KNex thrill ride kits. My oldest son had a ferris wheel and small roller coaster, and just last week I found the swings and octopus rides on clearance at WalMart. The kids enjoy putting together all of the gears and having a motor to put them all in motion!
I was super lucky and found their giant roller coaster set, normally $300, at a thrift store for $16. It is 3x6 feet and stands about 3 foot high!
Oh well, I just wanted to share what my kids are currently in love with. They are 9, 11, and 13 and we have been homeschooling for 3 years now.
