That slip'n'slide looks like a lot of fun :-)

But you asked, "Do you homeschool in the summer? Full on or light?"

Since we unschool, our homeschooling doesn't change from season to season. :-)

We "schooled" year 'round. What we did depended a lot on my mood for the day and what was available to do that was not at home. Impromptu field trips were very common!

Isn't Percy and the Olympians a GREAT book. My oldest has read all of them so far. I feel silly right now because I never thought to turn it into a read aloud.

We were suppose to do a light school schedule during the summer, but it just never happened. We are just going to take the rest of the summer off from formal stuff. We are reading up a storm though.

That slip n slide looked like a blast.

We have done read alouds forever - I honestly am dreading the day she says she is too old! Percy and the Olympians was recommended to me by another homeschooling mom and we adore it!!! It flows perfectly for reading aloud! I HIGHLY recommend this series for both kids and adults!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
