I really think that it depends on what your child would like to do when they get older. My boys both wanted to join the military. There are some additional requirements for homeschoolers to enlist. Since I looked last, only my youngest son wishes to enlist. My oldest would like to go to culinary school.

I totally agree with what you are saying. We have a soon to be 7th grader that at this point is not interested in going to college and I am okay with that. Her interests have led her into fine arts, drama, etc. I also would like to go through high school relaxed and learning and not so stressful.

I just realized I signed me with the wrong account for the previous post about our 7th grader. This is the correct account.

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
