We used to use wordly wise as well but I didn't like that the words were not connected in any way and just seemed to be chosen at random. I'm glad you said what you said about SOTW. I had always wondered how "secular" it actually was. I go through the Rainbow Resource catalog every so often and I put SOTW on my list and then I take it off, put it on, take it off, LOL. I'm not 100% sold on the product and I'd hate to spend more money on something we don't use, KWIM?

Your daughter sounds a lot like my oldest son except he has never been to school and still doesn't want to do all of the steps! LOL Maybe it's the age??? Or at least that's what I'm hoping! LOL

Thanks for letting me know she is not the only one!!!
I had gone back and forth and asked a TON of people about the SOTW and I had been told by some that it was secular and by a lot that it wasn't. When I saw it on the library network I was very excited to finally get to make my own opinion. I will say that I am glad that I didn't spend the money on it.

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
